Our story
How we started
MSWilliams Consultancy grew out of a simple frustration: too many hospitality businesses were getting generic advice from people who'd never worked a service. We set out to do things differently.
Founded by M.S. Williams — a hospitality professional with over 25 years of hands-on experience across restaurants, bars, events and retail — the consultancy was built on the belief that the best advice comes from people who've actually done the job.
Today, we work with independent operators and growing groups across the UK and Ireland, helping them open smarter, run better and grow with confidence.

Michael Williams has spent over 25 years working at every level of the hospitality industry — from kitchen porter to operations director. That breadth of experience is what makes MSWilliams Consultancy different.
He founded the consultancy after recognising a gap in the market: business owners needed practical, hands-on support from someone who truly understood the industry — not generic advice from the outside.
Michael works directly with every client, bringing the same energy and commitment to a single-site independent as he does to a multi-site group.
